The engine is a 4.0-litre twin-turbo petrol V8 producing 373kW and 770Nm, with peak torque arriving from just 2,000rpm. Through an eight-speed automatic and quattro all-wheel drive, it moves a 2.2-tonne SUV with an ease that doesn't quite make sense until you've felt it. Adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering come as standard, which is why a vehicle five metres long feels manageable in a car park. For Perth, it fits a specific set of jobs.
